About Us
Located at the junction of the Coal and Liard Rivers in the beautiful Northern Rockies, BC — 30 minutes north of Liard Hot Springs and 1.5 hours south of Watson Lake, Yukon.
Originally built in 1949, Coal River Services has served countless travelers along the Alaska Highway. Under new ownership by Kelly Clark, we've modernized while preserving the historic character that makes this stop special.
We're here for weary travelers, commercial operators, and adventure seekers — your northern highway oasis.

"What a wonderful group of individuals. They made us feel at home and very welcomed. We liked them so much we even changed numbers with a few of them to stay in touch. I can't wait to go back! The beds are so comfy and the 2 breakfasts we had were great! Coffee was hot and WiFi worked perfectly. They helped us put on a tire for a very decent rate!
